Budget - Conclusion
Nothing has been decided yet. This information is now in your hands. To get on to the official record, get out to the open houses, or email Council at mayorandcouncil@tol.bc.ca. We want to hear your input.
The general tax increase for the average household is $80 this year--$1,077 to $1,157. If you also receive all four utility serices (sewer, water, stormwater, and garbage collection), that total increase (including general, protective services, and transportation) is $119--$1,803 to $1,922. We're not done our work yet, and we haven't even started to debate what could be delayed for a year or what should be cut all together. Following public input, the entire Council will sit down together and make the tough decisions.
