Tomorrow...

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to our American readers, of which we have several (I can see you thanks to the wonders of Google Analytics!).

Tomorrow, I'm going to meet Susan Semonick, the driving force behind the petition to scrap the City's School Board seats. I'm curious to learn more about what led her to this idea. After all, she spent years in the DPAC system, working closely with trustees and School Board staff. She even chaired a DPAC governance committee for a time. Her kids have now graduated and she has immediately gone to work on this.

Any step that moves the Township and City closer to reunification is welcome in my books. But, to be honest, her Board proposal isn't something I had ever thought about, so I'll be interested to hear the foundation to this idea.
