My friend Heidi

I know many of you who read this blog run various community groups and organizations throughout the Lower Mainland. If you're ever looking for an inspiring, encouraging speaker, may I suggest my friend Heidi Cave. Heidi's story, chronicled in today's Advance is astounding.

Heidi, who lost her legs and suffered severe burns when her car was hit by a drunk driver, now travels and speaks to groups about the BC Professional Firefighters' Burn Fund, an organization near and dear to her heart. Her website is here.
